On June 30th the year 2008 the organization known as The Manticore Society has been established. We are a society residing in the state of California which embraces the genre known as Steampunk. We hope to create a lively community of fellow eccentric individuals who are part of the steampunk movement, be it the aesthetics, the philosophy, the culture, or the lifestyle.
To join the society just come down to one of our future events or gatherings and sign up.

When is your next meeting/gathering?
My friends and I are relatively new to Steampunk, but would be most interested in meeing new friends!
Our next meet up will be at Comic-Con International 2008. Information has been posted up.
