The Infernal Contraption 5-14-09

Had an absolutely wonderful time, ran into old friends, unexpected friends, and made some new ones. Once again had a wonderful night, great to see everyone again, and hopefully as Nick said it will be but the first of many. I had a video of Nick's demo but it seems youtube wouldn't allow me to load it up as it was over 12 minutes long...alas...

Well here are some photos of the night, enjoy!

Here is a video of the fire show performed by Miss Satanica.

12th Annual Monterey Park 2009 Cherry Blossom Festival

The 12th annual Monterey Park 2009 Cherry Blossom Festival will be held on April 18 & 19,2009 at Barnes Park, located at 350 S. McPherrin Avenue; Monterey Park, CA. I'm thinking of heading out there on Sunday. There will be traditional Japanese dancing, performance on the taiko drums, observing the mastery and various skills of martial arts, participating in the ancient art of the tea ceremony, and buying hand made crafts or food with an Asian flair. Other highlights of the festival will include games and crafts for children, and numerous cultural displays.
